Hello! I’m Isa, a video editor, digital marketing professional, and creative based in my hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
How I got here:
I graduated from the University of Southern California in May 2023, where I earned a Presidential Scholarship to study Cinema and Media Studies.
I also served as Video Director for KXSC, USC’s only student-run radio station, where I filmed and edited weekly performances and interviews with local musicians.
What I’m up to:
After I graduated, I moved back to Chicago from Los Angeles and took a full-time position at Mercy Corps, an international humanitarian organization that I had been interning at for a year.
As Mercy Corps’ Social Media Coordinator, I am the principal content creator, graphic designer, and video editor for the organization’s global social platforms.
What drives me:
Over the past six years, I’ve developed a professional focus on video editing and audiovisual content creation, with a special passion for applying these skills to support the work of marginalized artists, musicians, and changemakers all over the world.
